Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy accused the Congress Party of intentionally creating confusion among voters and spreading false information about an alleged alliance between the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the saffron party. Reddy claimed that this was done to divide the anti-incumbency votes and benefit the BRS with the Majlis Party acting as the mediator. Challenging Congress Party leader Rahul Gandhi to a public debate, Reddy questioned who the ‘B’ team truly is. He pointed out past instances of Congress and BRS holding talks for a merger and Congress MLAs joining the BRS. Reddy firmly denied any alliance between BJP and BRS. He called on Congress leaders to apologize for their mistakes during their time in power and make amends before commenting on the BJP. Additionally, N. Ramchander Rao accused the government of politicising the suicide of a young unemployed woman and filing false cases against party leaders. Rao promised to address the youth employment issue if his party comes to power.
