Amazon MGM Studios is in the process of making the action film ‘Samaritan 2′, a sequel to the 2022 movie that features Sylvester Stallone. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bragi F. Schut, the writer behind the original film, is set to craft the screenplay for the sequel. Stallone will return as both the producer and the lead actor, with the arrangement being established prior to the actors’ strike. The first movie, ‘Samaritan’, is based on a 2014 graphic novel and tells the story of a young boy who believes a sanitation worker is a superhero. Directed by Julius Avery, ‘Samaritan’ quickly became popular on Amazon Prime and held the top spot among films on the platform for three weeks.
