Buck up or go extinct: Ola’s Aggarwal to ICE players

Ola’s Chief Technology Officer, Ankit Aggarwal, has warned automobile companies that they must adapt to renewable energy or face extinction in the changing market. Aggarwal emphasized that merely making noise about electric vehicles is not enough; companies must actively shift towards renewable energy solutions. Ola currently operates the world’s largest electric vehicle fleet and aims to have one million EVs on the road by 2022. Aggarwal’s comments come as the Indian government plans to achieve 30% electric vehicle adoption by 2030.
