On November 8, a joint National American Indian Heritage Month celebration will take place in Arlington, Virginia. The event is organized by the Indigenous Nations Equality Team (INET) and is hosted by the Department of the Air Force, the Air Force Protection Agency, and the Department of the Army. National American Indian Heritage Month, observed annually from November 1-30, recognizes the contributions of American Indians and Alaskan Natives to the United States. The event will be held in the Pentagon Courtyard in Arlington from 1-3 p.m. EST.
