Mswipe, a digital payment provider for merchants, has made significant changes to its leadership structure as part of its global expansion plans. The company has appointed Ketan Patel as cofounder and has expanded several leadership roles internally. As part of the restructuring, Nayantara Bhargava has been named Chief Business Officer, Saikiran Amin as Group Chief Human Resources Officer, Harita Desai Jani as Chief Marketing Officer, and Rishikesh Pillai as Chief Executive of the subsidiary. Rohit Agarwal, the current Chief Financial Officer, will also be responsible for ensuring quality customer service to merchant partners. Additionally, Sachin B. Shettigar will take on additional aspects of payment settlements and merchant onboarding funnel. This strategic move aims to strengthen Mswipe’s position in the Indian market while also expanding its reach to multiple other countries. Mswipe has already started operations in Singapore and partnered with Etisalat in the UAE. The company also plans to expand to other Southeast Asian geographies, including Indonesia. Mswipe, backed by Matrix Partners, Epiq Capital, and Falcon Edge, provides card machines and payment acceptance infrastructure to merchants and has also ventured into providing loans to its merchant base. The appointment of Ketan Patel and the expansion of leadership roles demonstrate Mswipe’s focus on growth and innovation in the digital payment space. This news follows similar leadership elevations in the digital payment sector, with PhonePe and Razorpay also announcing key appointments.
