Rajasthan BJP president, C P Joshi, has accused the Congress government of failing to deliver on its promises and indulging in corruption. He stated that the Congress, after coming to power, forgot its promises and only committed corruption, ultimately cheating the people. The BJP leader expressed confidence that the party would secure a historic mandate in the assembly elections. BJP MP Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore also joined in the criticism, stating that the Congress government wasted five years with incidents of recruitment exam paper leak scams, corruption, and a rise in crimes against women. Rathore further mentioned that the youth consider five years to be a long period, implying their dissatisfaction with the Congress government’s performance. In response to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot’s remark about an undercurrent, Rathore confidently suggested that the poll results would shock the Congress. The voting for 199 out of 200 assembly constituencies in Rajasthan took place on Saturday, and the votes will be counted on December 3.
