Persistent Systems has announced the appointment of four new executives to its top leadership team as it seeks to scale up its digital business operations. The Pune-based firm, which reported a 17.7% year-on-year revenue growth for the second quarter of this financial year, aims to double its revenue and surpass $1 billion by March 2023. The new hires include former Wells Fargo executive Sumit Arora as senior vice president to help set up and drive the consulting practice. Ayon Banerjee from Boston Consulting Group has joined as chief strategy and growth officer to spearhead non-linear growth, while former Tech Mahindra executive Dhanashree Bhat has been inducted as chief operating officer (COO) to lead various divisions. Rajiv Sodhi, former COO at Microsoft India and CEO of GoDaddy India, has also joined the company as senior vice president for hyperscaler business and strategic alliances. Persistent Systems’ CEO, Sandeep Kalra, stated that the addition of these leaders strengthens the team and enhances the company’s commitment to clients, partners, shareholders, and employees. With a workforce of around 22,800 employees spread across 21 countries, Persistent Systems has experienced substantial growth and aims to continue its expansion in the coming years.
