Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi 13C smartphone in India, aiming to capture the market of budget-conscious 5G buyers. Building on the success of the Redmi 12 5G, the new phone features a 50MP main lens and a 5,000mAh battery. The Redmi 13C sports a 6.74 HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, offering up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone supports 18W fast charging and has a 50MP camera with f/1.8 aperture. It will be available in three variants – 4GB+128GB, 6GB+128GB, and 8GB+256GB – priced at ₹9,999, ₹11,499, and ₹13,499 respectively. Customers can purchase the Redmi 13C on Xiaomi’s portal, Amazon, and through retail partners starting December 16.
