Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has left for Delhi from the Jaipur airport on December 6, as suspense looms over the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) chief ministerial pick for the state. The BJP emerged victorious in Rajasthan after winning 115 seats out of 199. However, the party is yet to announce its choice for the chief minister. Vasundhara Raje, a two-time CM of the state, is considered one of the top contenders for the position. Other notable names include Diya Kumari, an MLA from Vidyadhar Nagar, Mahat Balak Nath, who won from the Tijara constituency, and Rajyavarardhan Singh Rathore, who won from the Jhotwara constituency.
