Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday as the market fell. ZUARIAGRO, Aries Agro, Southern Petrochemicals Industries, Madras Fertlizers, Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals, Paradeep Phosphates, Agro Phos, National Fertilizer, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers, and G S F C were among the top gainers. Bohra Industries, Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem, Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals, Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers, Rama Phosphates, and Madhya Bharat Agro Products were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 89.55 points down at 20816.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 288.98 points at 69262.05 at around 11:26 AM.
NTPC Ltd., Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., Hero MotoCorp Ltd., Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., Eicher Motors Ltd., ITC Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Ltd., IndusInd Bank Ltd., Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., and Tata Consumer Products Ltd. were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Infosys Ltd., HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., Bajaj Finserv Ltd., Grasim Industries Ltd., LTIMindtree Ltd., UltraTech Cement Ltd., Wipro Ltd., Bajaj Finance Ltd., and Axis Bank Ltd. were trading in the red.
