Indian Government Plans to Recognize Skill Certification of MNCs and Top Companies

The Indian government is working towards recognizing and awarding skill certifications provided by multinational companies (MNCs) and top companies. Microsoft, IBM, HCL Tech, and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) have already come onboard, and discussions are underway with Google, Meta, Cisco, and other sector leaders. The objective is to establish at least 10 international awarding bodies within the next two months and increase the number to 20 by July 2024. This initiative aims to enhance the value and recognition of skill certifications, benefiting individuals seeking employment opportunities in various industries.
