Fourteen candidates, all men, scored a perfect 100 percentile in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023, according to the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow. Among the 14 toppers, 11 candidates are from an engineering background. Another 29 candidates scored 99.9 percentile, with only one woman candidate making it to the list of the second highest scorers. The CAT score will also be used by 91 non-IIM institutions for admissions into their management programs. The test was attended by around 2.88 lakh candidates, with an overall attendance of 88%.
