T.S. Divya showcased her skills in the women’s air pistol final, finishing on top at the National shooting selection trials. The 28-year-old Divya qualified in eighth place, surpassing Olympian Yashaswini Singh Deswal and Yuvika Tomar, after they tied on a score of 574. In the final, Divya scored 243.8, defeating Manu Bhaker by 1.6 points. Rhythm Sangwan, who topped the qualification round with a score of 578, secured the fifth position. The other finalists included Anuradha Devi, Sainyam, Jasmin Kaur, Padma Devaram, and Olympian Annu Raj Singh.
In the men’s air pistol event, Karan Sehrawat claimed the top spot by a margin of 0.4 points over Shiva Narwal. Saurabh Chaudhary, who was the qualification topper with a score of 586, finished fourth, behind Kedarling Uchaganve. Yogesh Kumar, Amit Sharma, Aditya Malra, and Olympian Gurpreet Singh also made it to the final.
