Sunil Taldar has been appointed as the new CEO of Airtel Africa, succeeding Olesegun “Segun” Ogunsanya who is retiring, effective July 1. Taldar, previously the Director of Transformation, joined the Africa group in October 2023. Ogunsanya will become the inaugural chair of the Airtel Africa Charitable Foundation.
