Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that all educational institutions in the state will be closed on January 22, the day of the Ram Temple consecration in Ayodhya. Adityanath referred to the occasion as a ‘national festival’ and emphasized the emotional significance of the consecration ceremony of the new idol of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhyadham. He also directed officials to keep liquor shops closed in the state on that day. Adityanath visited Ayodhya to inspect the preparations for the consecration ceremony and to discuss arrangements with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He instructed government officials to provide necessary assistance to the trust for security and other arrangements for the event. The Chief Minister also chaired a meeting to discuss guidelines for the dignitaries attending the ceremony and emphasized the need for better arrangements for their stay. Additionally, he called for the installation of signages in all languages recognized under the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution and the six languages of the United Nations to accommodate the anticipated international visitors to Ayodhya. After January 22, devotees from around the world are expected to visit Ayodhya.
