Chikkanna, known for his comedic timing and humourous dialogues, is all set to play the lead role in the forthcoming film Upadhyaksha. Director Anil Kumar reveals that this film provided the perfect opportunity for Chikkanna to showcase his talent as a hero, while still staying true to his comedic image. The story revolves around Narayana, played by Chikkanna, the vice president of the Chi Thu Sanga in Gejjepura village. He falls in love with Anjali, portrayed by Malaika Vasupal, leading to hilarious situations. Anil Kumar also mentions that the sequel retains most of the characters from the previous hit Adhyaksha, ensuring a seamless continuation. Apart from Chikkanna and Malaika, the film also stars actors P Ravishankar, Veena Sunder, Sadhu Kokila, and Dharmana Kadur, and will feature a special cameo by Sharan, the lead actor of the first part.
