Chief Minister MK Stalin called for the unity of the parties in the INDIA bloc to dethrone BJP at the centre. Addressing the ‘Vellum Jananayagam’ conference organised by VCK president Thol Thirumavalavan in Trichy, Stalin emphasized that while BJP was a ‘zero’ in Tamil Nadu, it needed to be defeated all over India. He warned of the potential loss of the federal system, democracy, and states if BJP came to power again. Stalin called for unity among opposition parties to thwart the ‘danger’ posed by BJP. He urged the opposition parties to focus on ousting BJP from power and not let the votes against BJP get scattered. Stalin called for a united front named ‘INDIA front’ to capture power and bring about a real federal government in India. He praised Thol Thirumavalavan for his principles-based association with the parties. The conference saw the participation of various leaders who expressed their support for the cause.
