A teenager at a government hostel in Karnataka was recently assaulted, stripped, and paraded half-naked on a road, allegedly by fellow boarders, for not attending a ‘BR Ambedkar puja’ at the facility. The atrocity unfolded near the Karnataka High Court bench, with the victim forced to hold a photo of Ambedkar while being disrobed. The boy’s father has filed a case against 15-20 students, mainly minors, with one of the charges being promoting enmity between groups.
