Israeli forces disguised as civilian women and medical workers conducted a raid on a hospital in the West Bank town of Jenin, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinian militants. The raid highlights the spillover of violence from the conflict in Gaza into the occupied territories. The Israeli military claimed that the militants were using the hospital as a hideout, but did not provide evidence. Footage circulating on social media showed undercover forces, armed and disguised as medical personnel, carrying out the raid.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected Hamas’ main demands for a cease-fire, stating that there would be no military withdrawal from Gaza or release of jailed militants. Hamas, on the other hand, is studying the latest terms for a deal and prioritizing the full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. Qatar and Egypt are mediating talks between Hamas and Israel, with progress being made towards a phased release of remaining hostages and increased humanitarian aid into Gaza.

The war in Gaza began when Hamas-led militants attacked southern Israel, resulting in numerous casualties. In response, Israel launched an offensive that has caused significant loss of life and destruction in Gaza. The conflict has also led to a humanitarian crisis, with a large portion of the population displaced and facing starvation. In the West Bank, violence has surged since the start of the conflict, with Israeli forces cracking down on suspected militants.

The raid on the hospital resulted in the deaths of three individuals, with conflicting accounts of the circumstances surrounding their deaths. Israel has faced criticism for its raids on hospitals in Gaza, with allegations that militants use them as cover.
