Bhumi Pednekar, who has worked with Akshay Kumar in films like ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Toilet Ek Prem Katha,’ revealed that Akshay reads dialogue from cue cards while shooting, which she described as his unique talent and art. Bhumi clarified that Akshay does memorize his lines in advance but relies on cue cards during the actual take. She mentioned that there is someone holding up his dialogue on a board during the shoot. Bhumi also mentioned that Akshay knows his lines and often rehearses them with her before. She speculated that perhaps he finds a sense of security in this method, considering it a talent not everyone possesses. Bhumi recalled Akshay mentioning that even legendary actor Marlon Brando used a similar approach. Meanwhile, Bhumi’s much-awaited film ‘Bhakshak’ was released on February 9. It is based on the real-life case of rampant abuse in a shelter home in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur and also stars Sanjay Mishra, Aditya Srivastava, Sai Tamhankar, and Surya Sharma in pivotal roles.
