    Uncategorized

In another clash between the governor and the government, Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi refused to read out the prepared speech by the M K Stalin regime and left the assembly before the national anthem could be played. The governor made a brief speech and later issued a press release stating that the address prepared by the government contained misleading information and reading it would be a breach of the constitution. The action of the Governor comes shortly after his Kerala counterpart, Arif Mohammed Khan, cut short his customary policy address in the assembly, making it the shortest speech in Kerala’s history. The governor accused the Tamil Nadu government of ignoring his advice on changes to the policy address. The assembly speaker announced that no remarks, including those of the governor and his own, would be recorded, except for the policy address.
