Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a ceremonial welcome and held a bilateral meeting with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha. The meeting discussed India-Qatar friendship and was attended by S Jaishankar, Ajit Doval, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and Randir Jaiswal. During the meeting, the leaders exchanged views on expanding bilateral cooperation in sectors such as trade, investment, energy, finance, and technology. They also emphasized the importance of upholding peace and stability in the region. Additionally, PM Modi attended a dinner hosted in his honor by the Prime Minister of Qatar.
