Chennithala made these remarks during a state level training camp in Lonavala, Maharashtra. He emphasized the importance of unity and discipline within the Congress. State unit chief Nana Patole claimed that Maharashtra can prevent Modi from retaining power. Former chief minister Prithviraj Chavan criticized the economic policies of the Modi government and highlighted the slower pace of economic growth compared to the previous government.
