ADIA among funds tapped for Carlyle’s 24% in Nxtra

ADIA, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, is one of the several funds that have been approached by global investment firm Carlyle Group for its 24% stake in Nxtra, a leading Indian data center operator. Other funds such as GIC, DigitalBridge, Stonepeak, and Permira have also been tapped by Carlyle for this deal. Nxtra is a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, one of India’s largest telecom companies. The divestment of Carlyle’s stake is expected to help Nxtra expand its operations and strengthen its market position in the rapidly growing data center industry in India. Carlyle’s selection of these reputed funds highlights the attractiveness of Nxtra as an investment opportunity.
