Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary K.S. Jawahar Reddy praised the draft vision document on ‘Viksit Andhra 2047’ prepared by the NITI Aayog during a review meeting at the Secretariat. He stressed the need for concerted efforts by various sectors to achieve comprehensive development in the State. Reddy highlighted the State’s progress in areas like green energy, primary sector development, and revenue-based growth. He also mentioned the development of major transport corridors to enhance connectivity with other parts of the country. The State aims to achieve holistic development by focusing on coastal areas, national highways, and airports, in addition to providing essential amenities. Furthermore, significant strides have been made in education, healthcare, and other essential services aligned with national and international standards. Reddy expressed confidence in the State’s progress in all sectors by 2047 as envisioned in the document.
