Grammy winner Karol G and other passengers aboard her personal aircraft landed safely after an emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles. The flight, which had departed from Hollywood Burbank Airport, experienced a malfunction and turned around due to smoke in the cockpit. The cause of the malfunction is unknown at this time. Karol G, a Colombian singer-songwriter, recently won her first Grammy and was named Billboard magazine’s 2024 Woman of the Year. She was nominated in the Best Música Urbana Album category at the Grammy Awards 2024. Karol G and the other passengers were unharmed in the incident. She is set to be honored at the upcoming Billboard Women in Music Awards.
