Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday criticized CM Nitish Kumar’s frequent flip-flops and asked him to stick to his word. Tejashwi Yadav, a leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal, expressed his disappointment with Nitish Kumar’s inconsistent statements and urged him to be consistent. Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar assured PM Modi that he would stay with the BJP-led NDA alliance after switching sides from the INDIA bloc. Nitish Kumar met with PM Narendra Modi and BJP president J P Nadda to reaffirm his commitment to the alliance. This comes after Nitish Kumar had previously moved away from the BJP in 2022 but has now joined the NDA for the second time. Tejashwi Yadav had also extended his wishes to Nitish Kumar on his birthday, despite their political differences. Nitish Kumar has been the CM of Bihar on eight occasions, with this being his ninth term. He has had a history of shifting alliances, including breaking ranks with the NDA in 2013 and forming a grand alliance with the RJD and Congress in 2015. However, he later walked out of the alliance in 2017 and then snapped ties with the BJP in 2022, accusing the party of conspiring against him. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended his wishes to Nitish Kumar on his birthday, highlighting the political camaraderie within the NDA.
