The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has reserved its order in the matter related to the insolvency petition filed by Dublin-based aircraft lessor Aircastle Limited against budget airline SpiceJet. SpiceJet’s counsel has raised doubts about the maintainability of Aircastle’s petition, as the company had already filed a separate petition under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code. The NCLT will now decide the fate of Aircastle’s insolvency petition against SpiceJet.
