A student-initiated project from Goa Engineering College (GEC) has evolved into the official website for the department of archaeology in Goa. The website, inaugurated by Subhash Phal Dessai, minister for archives and archaeology, aims to assist tourists and students interested in history in deciding on places of historical importance and planning visits accordingly. Initially designed by GEC students, the website underwent refinement by the IT department, including a thorough security audit. Now, the website provides information about protected monuments, forts, and temples in Goa, offering a valuable resource for exploring the historical significance of the region.
