The long-awaited expansion of Yogi Adityanath’s UP cabinet took place on Tuesday with the induction of four new members. The newly sworn-in cabinet ministers include Om Prakash Rajbhar and Anil Kumar from the BJP alliance, along with Dara Singh Chauhan and Sunil Sharma. The oath ceremony was conducted by the governor Anandiben Patel at the Raj Bhavan. With this expansion, the total number of ministers in the Yogi government has risen to 56. This is the first expansion after Yogi Adityanath secured a second consecutive term after the 2022 assembly polls.
