Rohini Acharya, the second daughter of RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav, is rumored to be the party’s choice for the Saran Lok Sabha seat in the upcoming elections. Acharya, who is based in Singapore, previously donated a kidney to her father when he was ill in 2022. If she decides to contest in the elections, she will follow in the footsteps of her elder sister Misa Bharti, who is a Rajya Sabha member, and her brothers Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav. Meanwhile, RJD has allotted symbols to its nominees for Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, and Jamui, which are scheduled for voting in the first phase on April 19.
