Auto components maker Uno Minda has announced a partnership with Starcharge Energy to manufacture and sell electric vehicle supply equipment in India. The companies have entered into a technical license agreement for the production of wall-mounted AC chargers designed for home charging. Uno Minda Group CMD Nirmal K Minda stated that the collaboration strengthens their commitment to ‘Make in India’ and supports the nation’s shift towards a sustainable and electrified future. StarCharge, a global leader in electric vehicle charging infrastructure, operates in numerous countries and regions and is optimistic about the prospects for EV adoption in India, particularly for home charging solutions.
