Delhi Metro Services to Start at 2.30pm on Holi

In light of the Holi festival, Delhi Metro will begin operations at 2.30pm on Monday, according to officials. On the day of the Holi festival, metro services will not be available till 2.30pm on all lines of the Delhi metro, including Rapid Metro and Airport Express Line. Metro train services will thus start at 2:30 pm from terminal stations on all lines on 25th March and continue normally thereafter. DMRC also said that in case of encroachment and parking by auto and e-rickshaw drivers, passengers can contact station authorities or dial their 24×7 IVRS helpline 155370 for immediate assistance. Holi, a significant Hindu festival, will be celebrated on March 25, 2023, occurring on a Monday. In India, Holi is commemorated with immense enthusiasm, with every state boasting its distinct customs. The festival unfolds over two days: Choti Holi, marked by gatherings around bonfires to honor the tale of Holika, and Rangvali Holi, a day dedicated to playful color festivities.
