NEET MDS 2024 Exam Held as Scheduled Despite Requests for Postponement

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) held the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master’s in Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 on March 18, despite requests for rescheduling and the Supreme Court’s subsequent rejection to the postponement plea.

They filed a petition with the Supreme Court to move the exam to July. Despite this, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has confirmed that the exam will take place as scheduled on March 18, 2024.

The NBEMS is expected to release the NEET MDS 2024 results in April 2024. Along with the results, the provide cut-off scores for various categories will also be released, to help with the counselling process.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), has released the updated NEET MDS 2023 Cut Off. The cutoff has been reduced by 31.807 percentiles in all categories. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) oversees counselling for MDS courses using a merit list.

The minimum qualifying percentile cutoff for NEET MDS 2023, as determined by the NBE, is as follows:

– General and EWS category: 50th percentile
– SC/ST/OBC/reserved PWD category: 40th percentile
– General PWD/EWS-PWD category: 45th percentile
