A visit to Ujjain turned into a nightmare for a Supreme Court advocate from Mumbai and his family when they were attacked by a kiosk owner after a dispute over buying prasad. The lawyer was hospitalized with head injuries, and a woman and a minor girl in the family were allegedly molested. The Ujjain administration took immediate action and demolished 15 illegal shops, including that of the prime accused, near the Kal Bhairav temple. The accused has been arrested, and a case has been registered against him under IPC sections 326, 354, and the Pocso Act. The Ujjain collector has stated that hooliganism will not be tolerated and strict action will be taken against those involved in the incident.
