Actor Dhanush is ready to captivate his fans with his second directorial venture, Raayan. This film holds special significance as it marks his 50th appearance as an actor. Raayan is a gangster drama set in the gritty backdrop of North Chennai. The filming was completed in December 2023, and now the post-production work is in full swing. The much-awaited release is scheduled for June 2024. Produced by Sun Pictures, Raayan revolves around three brothers, portrayed by Dhanush, Kalidas Jayaram, and Sundeep Kishan. The ensemble cast also includes Selvaraghavan, SJ Suryah, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Saravanan, and many more. To keep the excitement soaring, the teaser of Raayan will be unveiled on April 14, coinciding with the Tamil New Year.
