Ahead of the 18th Lok Sabha polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Uttarakhand and criticized the opposition for the flourishing of terrorism in India due to weak and unstable governments in the past. He highlighted the strength of the current government in ensuring national security. Modi claimed that under this strong government, terrorists are killed by entering their homes. He also attacked Congress, stating that soldiers didn’t have bulletproof jackets during their regime, whereas his government supplied jackets made in India. He expressed confidence in his re-election campaign and referred to the upcoming General Elections. The voting for the General Elections will begin on April 19 and the results will be declared on June 4, 2024.
