In two unfortunate incidents, two men lost their lives in separate road accidents in Bengaluru. The first accident took place on Nice Road in Kengeri, when a 22-year-old man named D Mukesh died after his sports bike skidded at 9.30pm. He was riding back home after meeting friends, according to his family. Passersby found him lying by the roadside and informed the police, who arrived to find him already dead. The second accident occurred on the Peenya elevated flyover at 7am, when a speeding car collided with a bike, causing the rider to fall to his death.

The victim of the second accident was identified as P Prasad, a 38-year-old resident of Laggere and an assistant manager at a vegetable market in Dasanapura. The car driver fled the scene, but the police have identified the owner of the car and are in the process of making an arrest. Prasad’s wife, Priya, who is a mother of two minor children, has filed a police complaint regarding the incident.

These unfortunate accidents highlight the need for stricter road safety measures to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
