State government advisor and YSRCP general secretary, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has condemned the attack on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, calling it a pre-planned and cold-blooded attempt to murder. He suspects that the perpetrator used an air gun for precision. Sajjala strongly believes that the opposition party TDP is behind the attack, as they have been panicking after witnessing a strong response to Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Siddham meetings. Sajjala presented a video of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu instigating violence against Jagan Mohan Reddy at a public meeting. He accused Naidu and TDP leaders of hatching the attack plan to prevent Jagan Mohan Reddy from mingling with the public. Sajjala expressed his anguish over the attack on a popular leader like Jagan Mohan Reddy and dismissed the claims by TDP leaders that the attack could have been planned by YSRCP itself. He stated that the injury could have been life-threatening if it had hit a more sensitive area. The incident is being investigated by a separate police team, and the Election Commission is closely monitoring the situation, with a representation made to bring the facts to light. The attack has received condemnation from various political parties, except TDP.
