Bengaluru: MNK Rao Park SC boys claimed an impressive victory over Inspire BC, Dharwad, in the state junior (U-18) basketball championships held on Tuesday. The boys’ team, led by Siddarth Rao and Vijayendra, won the match with a score of 81-62. In a commendable effort, Rahul and Prashanth contributed significantly to Inspire BC’s performance but it was not enough to secure a win. In the girls’ section, Mangalore BC emerged triumphant with a score of 49-39 against Davangere BC. Carly’s 18-point contribution played a vital role in Mangalore BC’s success. The state junior basketball championships continue to witness intense competition as teams battle it out for the coveted title.
