Nominations for the 51st annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced on Thursday. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences revealed nominations in five categories- Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, Outstanding Daytime Talk Series, Outstanding Daytime Talk Show Host, Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series for both actress and actor. The awards will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ on June 7. The nominees include shows like ‘The View,’ ‘Tamron Hall,’ ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ and ‘General Hospital.’ Eric Braeden also received a surprise nomination for his role on ‘The Young and the Restless.’ There are some changes in the categories this year. Some categories have been merged or split, and certain awards will not be given. The winners will be revealed during the live broadcast.
