Dubai International Airport, the busiest airport for international travel, will be relocated to a new facility in the next 10 years, according to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The project, estimated to cost $35 billion, will involve moving the operations of the current airport, known as DXB, to Al Maktoum International Airport. This move comes as part of Dubai’s strategy to ensure continuous development and establish itself as a global center. The new airport will feature five parallel runways and 400 aircraft gates.
