A 22-year-old youth, identified as Sathya K, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Bengaluru. Sathya, a plumber, was accused in a rape case registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act one-and-a-half years ago. He had eloped with a 15-year-old girl, but was arrested and the girl was rescued. Sathya was released on bail over a month ago and was living with his parents. On Thursday, he left home and did not return. The next morning, his body was discovered in the PC Mohan and Co complex building. Family members allege that he was killed by relatives of the girl he was in love with. Local residents found the body and alerted the police. It is suspected that Sathya was under the influence of alcohol and came to the building while it was raining.
