S.S. Rajamouli, the renowned Indian film director, wasted no time in exercising his voting right upon returning from Dubai. He took to Instagram to share a picture of himself and his wife, Rama Rajamouli, showing off their inked fingers after casting their votes. Rajamouli captioned the post saying, “Flew from Dubai… Rushed to the polling booth directly from the airport, hence the tired looks. Done! You?”

Apart from Rajamouli, other stars like K. Chiranjeevi, Jr NTR, and Allu Arjun also cast their votes in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi and his wife, Surekha, voted at a polling centre in posh Jubilee Hills. Jr NTR, accompanied by his wife Lakshmi Pranithi and mother Shalini, cast their votes at the polling centre at Obul Reddy School in Jubilee Hills. Allu Arjun, on the other hand, queued up at the BSNL office in Film Nagar to cast his vote.

In recent years, there have been cases where candidates with less than 30% vote share have won elections, but the scenario is changing now.
