AP Minister P. Narayana Vows Justice for Amaravati Farmers, Addresses Land Pooling Issues
November 29, 2025
Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana said the Andhra Pradesh government is ready to fix all pending problems faced by farmers in Amaravati. Speaking after a meeting on November 29, he assured that full justice would be given according to the rules.
The meeting included Union Minister Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar, MLA Sravan Kumar, CRDA Commissioner K. Kannababu, and others. They discussed issues such as village boundary plots, street-aligned plots, and classification differences. Narayana confirmed village boundary allotments will be checked for correctness.
He said plots lost to road projects will be given again after verification. Farmers affected by Roads and Buildings projects will get compensation through Transferable Development Rights (TDR) bonds. Issues with assigned lands will be handled separately by the Cabinet.
The Minister praised farmers for giving 34,000 acres in just 58 days during the original land pooling, which helped the capital’s growth. However, he stressed benefits outside policy rules can’t be accepted.
On disputed lands, Narayana stated the government will start land acquisition immediately if farmers drop court cases by December 3. The land pooling scheme will continue for those farmers willing to join.
