The Madhapur police have registered a case against a man for allegedly posing as a journalist at a program attended by Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma. The event took place at a private hotel in Madhapur on Friday, November 28. A local journalist, Shaik Mohsin Ali, filed a complaint that triggered the investigation. According to the police, confusion began when the man was seen carrying several microphones with logos of various national news channels. When questioned by real reporters, the suspect could not provide a clear reason for his presence or the equipment he had. Police were called and took the man, identified as Avneesh, to Madhapur Police Station for questioning. Avneesh claimed he had been invited by a public relations representative, and that the microphones were given by channel representatives from Delhi. Police are verifying these statements. A case is registered, and the probe continues.
