An 18-year-old engineering student died after falling from a high-rise apartment in Sanathnagar on Wednesday night, November 26. The victim, identified as Deepika Choudhary, was a first-year B.Tech student living in Kalpataru Residency, a gated community. Police said Deepika often sat near the window of her family’s 10th-floor flat. On Wednesday night, she was eating by the window when she slipped and fell to the ground. Emergency services were called, but she died from her injuries. A case was filed after the family’s complaint. The postmortem was done, and the body was handed to the family. Both police and family officials confirmed there is no suspicion of foul play.
