PALS, a voluntary group led by IIT alumni, signed agreements with Immersive Technology & Entrepreneurship Labs (ITEL) at IIT Madras and AIC Anna Incubator. Their goal is to mentor early-stage startups from PALS partner institutions. PALS also hosted EDC 360°, a summit for leaders from 40 engineering colleges, focusing on building entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, chairman of ITEL, encouraged solving local issues like waterlogging, urban transport, and cybersecurity. He said, "While not all students will become founders, 15% can sustain the journey with the right nurturing." R. Krishnamurti Rao, PALS Champion, shared that PALS has grown over 13 years into a strong bridge connecting IITs, industry, and private colleges across southern India and Nepal. Mohan Narayanan of PALS said, "PALS’ entrepreneurship forum aims to create at least one successful startup from every partner institution."
