Jayamma, a conductor with Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), and K.B. Aravind, a marshal from Bengaluru Solid Waste Management Ltd. (BSWML), have passed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET-2025) in Kannada. This achievement makes them eligible for the post of assistant professor. The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) issued their certificates on Saturday. Mr. Aravind is from Huliyurdurga, Tumakuru district, while Ms. Jayamma is based in Bengaluru. Ms. Jayamma said, “I got a conductor job from the exam conducted by KEA earlier, and now I have cleared KSET. It is all because of the transparency maintained by KEA in conducting exams. Hope I will soon be appointed as assistant professor.” Mr. Aravind shared, “As I completed postgraduation in Kannada, I started preparing for KSET while working as a marshal. It is my dream to become a college professor.” KEA conducted the KSET-2025 written test on November 2 and declared results on November 15. The process of document verification and certificate distribution started from Saturday.
