A 19-year-old pharmacy student named Vatsala was found dead in her paying guest accommodation in Soladevanahalli on Saturday afternoon. Vatsala, from Hassan, studied in her second year of BPharm at a private college on Hesaraghatta Road. Her roommates discovered her body around 2:30 p.m. and informed the PG owner, who called the police. The police arrived and shifted the body for a post-mortem. They said no suicide note was found in the room. Authorities are questioning her friends and hostel mates to find out possible reasons. Vatsala's mobile phone has been taken for forensic checks.
